She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pahut and Caroline Pahut; her husband Frank Sympson, Sr.; and her brothers, Sgt. Stanley Pahut and Paul "Brownie" Pahut.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Jr., Thomas (Renee), James (Barb), Kenneth (Heidi) and MaryEllen (Jim Chismar). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
