We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, at the age of 90, Mary G. Brown (Youngstown, Ohio), born in LaGrange, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary G. Brown to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleve Phillips and Beulah Little Phillips; her former husband Rev. Samuel Jones; her husband Jack Brown; her siblings, Herbert, Hubert Phillips and Jewel Black; her nephew Michael A. Jones; and her nieces, Gloria Jean Perry and Pam Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Louis S. Jones, Clara Mills, Gloria Thompkins, Gail White-Jackson and Tamabra "Tammy" Ferguson; her sister-in-law Mary Phillips-Willis (Fred); her stepchildren, Archie Brown (Jackie) and Elder Celestine Atkins (Minister Leon); her niece Eileen Hill; and her close friend Carrie Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, family, friends and special mention.
A celebration of life will follow at 10:00 a. m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
