She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her son James Pitzo; and her siblings, Michael Costello and Beth Ann Costello. She is survived by: her daughters, Rox Ann Sullivan (William) of Columbus and April Mellott (William) of New Middletown; her grandchildren, Cody Pitzo (Elise), Tristan Sullivan (Courtney), Brendan Sullivan (Madison), Aidan, Logan Sullivan, Cherokee, Savanna and Hunter Mellott; her great grandchildren, Luna, Ophelia, Willow Ann, Cameron, Avery and Roman; her siblings, Marijo Mazon and George Costello; and her goddaughter Michele Costello. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Mary Ann's memory to the Hope Center for Cancer Care, 835 Southwestern Run, Youngstown, OH 44514.
