He was predeceased by: his parents, Milan Latas and Marie Partle Latas. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Erath; his sons, Matthew Latas (Rachel) of Marietta and Ian Latas of Las Vegas; his brother Michael Latas (Jill) of Columbus; his grandson Theodore Latas; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Hoffmeister (Clyde) and John Erath (Veronica). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
