He was predeceased by: his parents, Milos Erkman and Julia Erkman of Youngstown, Ohio.; his wife Diane; and his siblings, Sam, Steve, Pete, Nick and Mildred.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Erkman (Grace) of Spring and Tami Erkman-Bernardini (Dante) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Nicolette Erkman of Dallas and Kristin Erkman of Austin, Texas..
