Marilyn L. Sweeney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn L. Sweeney (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Richards and Ralph R. Sampsell; her former husband Joseph N. Lotze; and her husband Robert H. Sweeney. She is survived by: her sister Constance Maris; her children, Richard Lotze (Lisa), Joan Lotze (Patricia) and Susan Lotze; her grandchildren, Autumn Lotze, Lauren Wagner (Andrew), Nathan Lotze and Lukas Crumpley; and her great grandchildren, Ryann, Andie and Louden Wagner. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44502, earmarked for the Sweeney Children's Gallery.
