She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Mackey and Mary Bell Mackey; her husband James; her son Lance; her grandson Arthur Holmes III; and her siblings, Thelma Jackson, Annie Bell Griffin, Willie V. Holloway, Huria, Grady Jr. and William.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Holmes (Arthur L.), Lorenzo Heard (Donna) and Debra Lucky (Curtis); her daughter-in-law Sandra Heard; and her grandchildren, Yolanda, Valerie, Jason, Curtis and Lisa Nicole.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church (1210 Himrod Ave, Youngstown, OH 44506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Her contributions to the community shaped the future of many children, instilling in them values that will endure.
