McDowell Jr. of Alabama, Keyona Sykes of Columbus, Lamar Sykes (Cori) of Indiana, Dana Hewlett (Jason) of Youngstown, Danielle McDowell of Youngstown, Marisha McDowell of Youngstown, Raonda Sykes of Youngstown and Lamont McDowell of Florida; his siblings, William L. McDowell Jr. of Youngstown, Kelly L. McDowell-Terrell (Daniel) of Columbus, Eric D. McDowell of Columbus, Ronson McDowell (Latonya) of Youngstown, Lillian Anderson of Columbus, Shene McDowell of Columbus, Shirrah Poole of North Carolina and Shannon Alston (Heather) of Painesville; and his close friend Michele McKinley. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
