He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Jones and Sharlane Jones (Kerns); his sisters, Gwen (Tony Edwards) and Vickie Benton (Toni Kerns); and his grandson Ezekiel Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Shar'Linda Carter (Carlisle) of Canton, Charmonique Jones of Etna, Sharlane Jones of Boardman, Chare Hosey (Timmell) of Akron and Kurt Jones of Akron; his grandchildren, Kayonna, Anthony, Aaronae, Chase, Jedi, Kimora, Isreal, Areya and Amina; his siblings, Tim Jones (Maxine) of Niles, Eric Jones (Celest) of Suffolk, VA, Darryl Jones of Columbus, Anthony Austin of Akron, Valencia Jones of Campbell, Bahja Austin of Akron and Rani Weaver of Akron; his mother-in-law Christine Hampton (Randy) of Akron; and his former wife Yolanda Jones. He is also survived by four aunts; two uncles; seventeen nieces and nephews; as well as host of cousins and many close friends.
