He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelsen and Doris Jackson Nelsen; and his stepsons, Ben and Scott Vaughan. He is survived by: his wife Carole Bacon; his brothers, Gary (Shirley) and Chris (Shelly); his children, James Nelsen and Angie Perkins; and his stepdaughter Bonnie Vaughan. He is also survived by his family and many loving friends.
