With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Eileen Caige of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Dawson and Effie Ramsey Dawson; her husband Albert; her daughter Sharon Dawson; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Dawson, Willie Mae Hill, Roberta Thompkins, Beatrice Dawson and John L..
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Caige (Marionetta) of Ashburn, VA, Kendall Caige (Donna) of Germany and Linda Caffey (Paul Jr.) of Youngstown; and her siblings, Beverly Owens of Youngstown, Delores Dawson of Youngstown and David Paul Dawson (Kennis) of South Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a. m. Guest are asked to wear masks.
