She was predeceased by: her parents, Nestor Raptou and Eleftheria Economidis Raptou; and her brother Paul Raptou. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Panos Zafirides; her children, Dr. Peter Zafirides (Sophia) of Columbus, Ohio and Rea Eucker (Jon) of Howland, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Alexys, Elly, Panos, George and Catherine.
