It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julius Joiner of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Johnnie Mae Joiner; his stepfather Thomas Perry; his grandmother Amanda Spencer; and his siblings, Harold "Bubba" Joiner, Arnetta Perry and Gladys Perry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Oliver (John), Barbara J. Perry, Estelle Boone (James), Rachel Mitchell (Daniel), James Perry and Thomas Perry; his cousin Willie James of Cleveland; his children, Jayda Montgomery-McKinney, Michelle, Pam, Julius "Head" Joiner, Jr., LaTosha Brown of Youngstown, OH., Charmaine McCullough of Youngstown, OH., Tanya Montgomery, Tony Joiner and Danika Joiner; and his grandchildren, Jaiwonn B. Montgomery and Marcis Joiner. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
