He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Perez and Maxima Perez (Lopez). He is survived by: his wife Iluminada Gonzalez; his children, Joel Perez, Jose M. Perez, Marilyn Perez and Wanda Saunders (Reynaldo); and his stepchildren, Emil Sanchez (Patricia), Milagros Medina (Edison), Brenda Montalvo (Edwin) and Maureen Lugo (Luis). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, 3 brother and one sister along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
