It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Wilkins (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2018, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Lamont, Jr.; his grandparents, Lucille Kelly and Howard Wilkins; his stepgrandfather Hazel Kelly; his parent-in-law Lee Dortch; his uncles, Steve Wilkins and Theodore Baker; his aunt Maurice Wilkins; his stepbrother James L. Stewart, Jr.; and also Betty Dortch.
He is survived by: his parent Brenda J. Wilkins; his wife Marilyn DeSalvo of Youngstown; his brother William Wilkins of Strongsville, OH; his stepsiblings, Clifford Stewart (Rhonda) and Jacinta Stewart of Youngstown; his sisters-in-law, Jeane Bruton (John) of Victor, MT and Carolyn Dortch of Hamilton, MT; and his aunts and uncles, Shelia Smith (Jeffery) of Akron, OH, Rebecca Suber of Asheville, NC, Diana Baker of Spindale, NC, Howard Wilkins of Richmond, VA and David Wilkins (Betty).
Family requests that in lieu of flowers, commemoration take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
