He was predeceased by: his parent Francis C.; and his brother Henry Kline Paquin. He is survived by: his friend Gunny; his parent Ruth Paquin (Conrad); his wife Charlene O. Kerns; his children, John W. Paquin (Rhonda Winstead) of Bluffton, Victor C. Paquin of Hickory and Amanda S. Hamm (Robert) of Boardman; his brothers, Frankie Paquin (Rosalee) and Glenmark Paquin (Faye); and his grandchildren, Julie, Nathan, Michaela, Rachel and Grace.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Faith Evangelical Bible Church, 8170 Highway 70, Newport, NC 28570, in memory of Gunny.
