He was predeceased by: his parents, Mykola Melnik and Rozalia Melnik (Danylchak). He is survived by: his children, Nicole Miller (Joseph) of Syracuse, NY, John Melnik II (Darcy) of New Wilmington, PA and Allison Davis (Michael) of Massillon, OH; his grandchildren, Corey of Kara, John III, Isabella, Gabrielle, Jack and Bryce; his great grandchild Adalina; and his siblings, Peter Melnik (Alice) of Niles, OH, Michael Melnik of Campbell, OH, Steve Melnik (Judi) of Coitsville, OH, Paul Melnik (Karen) of Campbell, OH and Maryann Melnik.
