He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clarke and S. Marie Clarke-Deeley; and his siblings, Lucy Marie, Patricia A., Herbert J. and Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Walker (Frank) of Flower Mound, TX, Kelley Mahoney (Kevin) of Bristow, VA, Jennifer Jones (Cliff) of Pittsburgh and John Clarke III (Courtney) of Strongsville, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
