John A. Medvec Obituary
The memory of John A. Medvec (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Medvec and Julia Medvec (Dzuroff); his wife Eleanor Puhalla; his sisters, Sophie Motosko and Mary Ress; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Motosko, Joseph Ress and Leonard Puhalla.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel of Boardman, John W. (Suzy) of Canfield, Frank and Linda Kuebler (William) of Berlin Center; and his sister Margaret Puhalla. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christine Church (3165 S Schenley Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in John's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital via https://www.stjude.org; the donor's preference; or Mass intentions may be made in his name.
