He was predeceased by: his parents, Elloraine Beckman (Nerdrum) and Arnold Beckman; and his wife Judith M. Beckman (Milligan). He is survived by: his children, Craig R. Beckman (Alison) of Oakton, VA, Tara L. Pfaeffle (Jamie) of Gibsonia, PA and Heather L. Beckman (Michael Pieck) of Manhattan, NY.; his granddaughters, Kaela Beckman, Autumn, Brooklyn Pfaeffle, Alexa and Kaia Pieck; his siblings, David Beckman of Vernon Hills, IL and Janice Beckman of Hanover Park, IL; his close friend Beverly Genova of Youngstown, OH.; and his nieces and nephews, Miranda Milligan Raivala and Mirissa Milligan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
