He was predeceased by: his parents, JayRoy Sr. Anderson and Eva Elizabeth Henry Anderson; his wife Polly A. Anderson; his son Anton Flint; his siblings, Rosalie Anderson, Carole Dubois, Nancy of Washington, Oliver Anderson and David Farrell Sr.; and his niece Sophia Walker.
He is survived by: his close friend Diane Kibble; his brothers, Sam "Frenchial" Anderson (Lee Rona) and Cory Anderson (Misty); his children, JayRoy Hicks (LaToya), Phillip Anderson, Jaroyce Anderson, Lorice Moore (Catrina), Deljuan Williams (Lakisha) and Kristy Gore (John); and his stepchildren, Tanya and Terrance Kibble. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
