He was predeceased by: his father Vincent Gennaro. He is survived by: his mother Gretchen Sambell (Timko) of Youngstown; his wife Katherine Swetko of Youngstown; his children, Jason C. "Jay" Gennaro, Jr. of Florida, Katie Gennaro and Krystan Swetko of Youngstown; and his siblings, Sarah Churn of Texas, Adam Churn (Amela) of Strongsville, Damon Gennaro (Tenille) of Youngstown, Eric of Florida, Vince Gennaro of Florida, Dylan of Sandusky and Jimmy Gennaro of Sandusky. He is also survived by three grandsons.
