She was predeceased by: her parents, David Avery and Elieen Wester Phillips; her husband William Altheide; and her siblings, Janice Rogers, Patricia Miller, Carol Stowe, David Avery and George Avery.

She is survived by: her children, Norma Spelich (Richard) of Youngtown and William F. Altheide of Youngstown; her brother Ernie Avery of Girard; and her grandchildren, Candace Kuhns, Tiffany Spelich, Angela Altheide, Alysia Altheide, Abby Altheide and William Altheide Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
