She was predeceased by: her father Eddie Barnes; her grandmother Opal Barnes; and her great-aunt Hazel Wilson. She is survived by: her mother Jennifer Miller Barnes; her husband Cobie Phillips; her children, Jasmine Cole, Kamara Phillips, Cobie Phillips Jr. and Jamari Phillips; her son-in-law Michael Sullivan; her grandson Michael Sullivan Jr.; her siblings, Eddie and Damon Barnes; her sister-in-law Misty Barnes; and her close friends, Tecola Lewis and Derrick Wallace. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
