He was predeceased by: his parents, William Proverbs and Cora Proverbs (Graham); and his wife Marietta Proverbs (Fusco). He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Smith (Greg) of Youngstown and Colleen Anderson of Canfield; his siblings, William Proverbs (Pat) of Nevada and Shirley Lewis (Welsh) of Indiana; his grandsons, Greg Smith (Wendy) of Boardman, Brian Smith of Youngstown and Jim Anderson (Melissa) of Poland; and his great grandchildren, JT of Elin, TJ, Lucas and James.
In place of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's name to Hospice of the Valley.
