He was predeceased by: his parents, James Magby and Loretta Sims Magby Trice; his sons, James Magby III and Richard Maurice Magby; his brother Clifford Trice; and his wife Joyce Lee Brown Magby.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Johnson of Warren, Pamela Magby of Youngstown, Ronald Magby of Youngstown, Reginald Magby of Youngstown and Eric Corley of California; and his brother John Trice (Patricia) of Youngstown. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
