He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Liggens; his children, Ernest Douglas Meadows and Faynell Wallace; his siblings, Willie Liggens Jr., Jean Hawthorne, Helen Wigfall, Thelma Houser, Ruthie Mae Glanton and Ted Glanton; his daughter Beverly Liggens; his granddaughter Tallisha Barlow; and also Kevin (Wanda). He is also survived by grandfather to his cherished 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, seven sisters-in love and two brothers-in-love.
