He is survived by: his children, Khalil Myers and Xavier Florence; his parents, James H. Florence Sr. and Sheila L. James; his stepmother Nancy Florence; and his siblings, Nanelle Florence, Mary Smith and Desiree Matthews. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
