It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Sears (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William August Anderson and Beatrice Jakway of Benton Harbor; her sister Patricia Burns of Palatine, ILL.; her children, Beatrice Louise Sears Bruce of Spartanburg, S. C. and Carlton Alfred Sears, III (Elaine); her grandchildren, Brian P. Bruce of Spartanburg, S. C., Alison Bruce Youngman (Nathan) of McClellanville, S. C., Meredith Sears Priset (Jared) of North Canton, OH and Megan Sears LaMarca (Anthony) of Youngstown; and her great grandchildren, Margaret, Elias and Adelaide Priset.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Pardee Hospital Foundation, 561 Fleming St., Hendersonville, N.C. 28739 or to the St. John in the Wilderness Historic Churchyard Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 185, 1895 Greenville Highway, Flat Rock, N.C. 28731 in her memory.
