It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hylester Bullock of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bullock and Lillian Bullock; his wife Elizabeth Asberry; his children, Sharon Bullock and Eddie Asberry; his granddaughter Mercades Harris; and his siblings, Slyvester, James, Kenneth, Charlie, Haywood Bullock, Tommy Lee, Herman Price, Mary, Marie Bullock and Minnie Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Bullock (Linda Love) of Columbus and Maurice Morris of Youngstown; his granddaughter Latoya Bullock; his caregivers, Kenneth Bullock of Youngstown, Kevin Bullock, Jr. of Youngstown and Jaron Morris of Toledo; his siblings, Ann Bullock of New Jersey, Olivia Johnson of New Jersey, Carol Bluford of New Jersey and Eddie Asberry (Nadine) of Atlanta; and his close friend Jackie Spann-Menton of Youngstown. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other special family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home Inc. (1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
