Helen I. Horkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2021, at the age of 91, Helen I. Horkey of Youngstown, Ohio, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marshall and Julia Marshall (Amerling); her husband Charles Horkey Sr.; and her brother Rudolph Marshall. She is survived by: her children, Charles Horkey, Jr. of Youngstown and Linda DeMatteo of Hubbard; and her sister Julia Rose. She is also survived by six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions be sent to the ladies missionary group of the Bible Baptist Temple, 230 Lettie Avenue, Campbell, Ohio 44405.
