She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Balog and Suzanna Balog (Bennedek); her husband Paul Varkonda; and her siblings, Joseph Balog, Alexander "Sandy" Balog, Mary Bathory and Elizabeth "Betty" Catlos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
