It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine McClendon Washington (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Phillips and Grace Lewis Phillips; her sons, Anthony and Michael McClendon; her siblings, Grace Hammonds, Samuel and Richard Phillips; and her granddaughter Danielle Joyce Nicole McClendon.

She is survived by: her sons, Patrick N. McClendon of Denver, CO and Benjamin McClendon (Marci Jones) of Youngstown; her daughter-in-law Migdalia "Maggie" McClendon of Boardman; and her grandchild Tawni McClendon. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
