George Tzagournis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Tzagournis (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Tzagournis and Argiro Tzagournis (Maropoulakis). He is survived by: his wife Tula Tzagournis (Eliades) of Warren; his children, Helena Tzagournis (Brett Wheeler) of Upper Arlington and Adam Tzagournis (Agapi Mantos) of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Adriana Hopkins (Gregory) of Upper Arlington, Samuel Wheeler of Grandview and Dialechti Tzagournis of Cleveland; and his brothers, Dr. Manuel Tzagournis (Madeline) of Upper Arlington, Dr. Charles Tzagournis (late Glenna) of Upper Arlington, William Tzagournis (Barbara) of Upper Arlington and Dr. Louis Tzagournis of Upper Arlington. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes be made to Saint John The Forerunner Greek Orthodox Church, Boardman.
