He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph and Louise Lucille Grove Kolesar. He is survived by: his children, Karen Loth (Mark) of Pataskala, Krissanne Schmidt (Brett) of Pataskala and Richard Kolesar (Cynthia) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Ryan Loth (Melissa), Gregory Schmidt (Harley), Megan Stemen (Mike) and Carley Schmidt; his great grandchildren, William, Lydia, Deacon and Elenor Grace; his brother James Kolesar (Glenda) of Abington, VA; his niece Mary Mahan; his great-niece Mia Mahan; and his siblings-in-law, Paul and Kathy Rish.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
