He was predeceased by: his parents, John Popovnak and Anne Gregory Popovnak; his former wife Kathryn Eileen Popovnak; his grandson Matthew; and his siblings, Dorothy Kollar and John Popovnak.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Jones Popovnak; his grandchildren, Stephen Popovnak (Amanda), Mark Kelso, Paige Lepowsky, Jake Narvet, Dakota Childers and Cheyenne Childers; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Mila Popovnak; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Popovnak of McCormick, SC and Jack Jones of Poland. He is also survived by married January 12, 1962; his four daughters.
