He was predeceased by: his son Geno Clayton; his parents, Gene Clayton and Shirley Clayton; his father-in-law Nick DiGenova; and his brother-in-law Bill Chipps.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly (DiGenova); his daughters, Jenna Clayton of Cleveland, Jessi Clayton of Cleveland and Channing Clayton (Joseph Patsko) of Poland; his granddaughter Violet Jean Patsko; his brothers, Tim Clayton (Viive) of Poland, Rick Clayton (Sue) of Poland and Dan Clayton (Louise) of Poland; his mother-in-law Rachele DiGenova of Youngstown; and his sisters-in-law, Dodie DiGenova of Struthers and JoAnn Chipps of Poland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly requests donations to Akron Children's Hospital for Childhood Cancer Research.
