He is survived by: his daughters, Maxine D. Sims of Columbus and Christine M. Sims of Columbus; his granddaughter Zuri N. Sims of Columbus; his siblings, Bruce "Butch" Sims (Dorothy) of Youngstown, Willie Thomas of Mississippi, Jeffrey Cofield of Dayton, DeWayne Reynolds of Dayton, Isaac "Glenn" Cofield of Indiana and Denise Reynolds-Heath of Michigan; and his aunts and uncles, Lela Graham of Dayton, Merdice "Jean" Shepherd (Walter) of Dayton, John Cofield (Bernice) of Texas and Garland Sims.
