She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hamp Sanders and Ruth Cornelius Jennings; her children, Anita R. Blackshear of Youngstown, Aileen Wheeler (Lorenzo) of Youngstown and Robert Blackshear III of Youngstown; her siblings, Freda Burton (Clyde) of Norfolk, VA and Willie Jennings of Youngstown; her husband Robert Blackshear II; and her children, William Cornelius Blackshear and Regina Joyce Blackshear. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
