She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmanuel Herring and Lillie M. Bryant Herring; her husband Nathaniel; and her siblings, Bobby, Garry Herring and Betty Herring.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Thompkins of Los Angeles, CA, Howard Jackson (Michelle), Yolanda Tubbs (Michel) of Youngstown, Brenda James (Jesse) of Boardman and Nancy Richardson of Boardman; her siblings, George Herring and Josephine Herring of Akron; and her close friends, Hester Lindsey, Helen H. Jackson and Crese B. Franklin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
