She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kavinsky and Veronica Kavinsky (Pitoniak); her husband Major Carl E. Kotheimer; her sisters, Kaye Byrnes and Jeanne Craft; and her grandson Kyle.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl Kotheimer (Linda) of Hudson, John Kotheimer (Deborah) of Toccoa, Kim Kotheimer (Laura) of Poland and Eric Kotheimer (Wendy) of Cape Carteret; her brother John Kavinsky (Barb) of San Antonio; and her stepson Atty. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
