It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Griffin of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Belcher Sr. Holmes and Loumandy Holmes; her husband John H. Griffin Jr.; her son Gregory Griffin; and her siblings, Lively, Leonard, Robert Willie Gayles, Belcher and Betty Talley.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Griffin, Donna Griffin, Keith Griffin and Michelle Griffin; her sister Jessie Copeland; and her grandson Cleveland A. Blair Jr.. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
