She was predeceased by: her parents, John George and Annie Mosta George (Ana); and her siblings, Regina, Sylvester, Diane, John, Nick, Victor and Alex.

She is survived by: her sons, George E. Lazar, Jr. and Ronald Lazar; her grandchildren, Amanda Bittner, Shannon Bittner-Lopez (Richard), Aaron Lazar (Christina), Marlena Bittner-Thorson (Mapes), Anna Woodard (David), Nathan Lazar (Angela) and Olivia Lazar; her great grandchildren, Elia, Alex, Sasha, Olive, Vega, Henry and Ramona; and her husband George E. Lazar, Sr..

The family has requested that contributions may be made to Second Harvest Foodbank of Mahoning Valley, 2805 Salt Springs Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44509.
