She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Lee Johnson Sr. and Florence Cabrero Johnson; and her siblings, Fred, Cortez, Vincent and Gregory Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore A. Simms; her children, Elliot M. Johnson, Tara K Simms-Winlock (Frederick), Patrick T Simms (Kristi) and Patrese R. Simms; her siblings, Moses Mahdee (Itlean) and Loretta Johnson Tutwiler; and her grandchildren, Elliot, Janelle, Timothy Underwood, Bralyn Simms-Sheppard, Fara Winlock, Donovan, Jayden and Peyton Simms. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
