She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Battles and Julia Thomas Robinson; her husband Elder Butler; her son John West; her siblings, Homer Goodwin, George Sherman, Kenneth Robinson, Catherine Mann, Francine May and Carolyn Robinson Thomas; and her grandsons, Tyrone Henderson and David Whipple Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Butler of Youngstown, Denise West Stone of Youngstown, Lisa West of Youngstown, David West of Youngstown, Kevin Butler Sr. of Youngstown, Juliet Butler of Youngstown, Keith A. Butler (Tasha) of Hampton, VA and Tyrone Freeman of Seattle, WA; and her brother John Robinson of Youngstown. She is also survived by 53 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
