He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Powell and Mary Powell (Ondra); his grandson Jimmy Powell; his son Jimmy Powell; his sister Carol Zigman; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Ault, Salianne Powell, Jimmy Pompoco, Allen Ault and Tony Zigman.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pompoco; his children, Cindy Reedy (Pat), Don Powell (Tammie) and Katie Rosati (Jim); his grandchildren, Elaine Reedy, Patrick Reedy, Joseph Reedy (Samantha), Donny Powell (Jen), Cory Powell (Emily), Diana Machel, Jenna Zorzi (Tom), John Rosati (Lacey) and Danny Rosati; his great grandchildren, Georgiana Reedy, Sloane Reedy, Aiden Machel, Adalyn Machel, Carter Powell, Cali Powell, Theodore Powell, Luca Powell, Thomas Zorzi, Nico Rosati and Rocco Rosati; and his brothers, Edward Powell and Bill Powell (Donna). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family is requesting that material tributes take the form of contributions to St. Luke Catholic Church, 5235 South Avenue, Boardman, OH 44512 or to Hospice of the Valley, 979 Tibbetts Wick Road, Girard, OH 44420 in memory of Don.
