She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilton O. Machen and Bennela W. Dinwiddie Machen; her husband Larry; and her brothers, Wilton, Tyrone and David Machen.

She is survived by: her son Terrance A. Machen of Youngstown; her sister Josephine A. Williams (Theodis) of Youngstown; her niece Melissa Butler; and her nephew Andrew Machen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
