He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Christoff and Veronica Christoff (Petrunak); his uncle Rev. Willam A. Petrunak; and his parents-in-law, Josephine and William M. Wainio, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janet Wainio Christoff; his children, Zachary, Shannon Christoff (Smrek), Veronica (Bryce Postolka) and Madeline (Chad Grisnik); his grandchildren, Audrey, Alex, Aiden Christoff, Ellie and Ruth Postolka; his siblings, Norma Bolina, Joyce Naymick (David) and Henry Christoff; and his many Wainio. He is also survived by brothers/sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to The Wainio Family Scholarship or the Rev. William A. Petrunak Scholarship both at Ursuline High School, 750 Wick Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44505.
