He was predeceased by: his parents, Sharon Gay Dabney and Nathanial Hammonds; his wife Ramona Dabney; his grandparents, James Burns and Helen Burns Taylor; and his brother Ronnie Burns (Nathaniel Hammonds Jr.).
He is survived by: his children, Darrin Brooks, Hassiem Craig and Lexus Dabney; his grandchildren, Jordan Craig and Lyndin Dabney; his siblings, Haryl Dabney (Rica), Samuel Burns (Terri), James Dabney, Carla Love (Lawrence), LeRoy Hammonds (Robin) and Tiffany Hammonds; his niece Lateefah Smith; and also Braiden Heath.
