It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Rogers of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Darlene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Darlene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollie O. Kimbrough and Arzana Olivia Brown Kimbrough; her husband Lewis "Red" Rogers Jr.; and her brother Kenneth Kimbrough. She is survived by: her sons, Lewis Todd Rogers Sr. of Bowie and Douglas Scott Rogers of Bowie; and her brothers, Rollie O. Kimbrough (Gwendolyn) and Dwayne G. Kimbrough (Denise). She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Centered Church (3300 Hudson Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
